The latest: mini-cabins have been installed in Shibuya, the trendy neighbourhood in Tokyo, where for 600 yen (around €4) you enter with your private school uniform and your backpack on wheels,, and you have half an hour + everything you might need (mirror, Wi-Fi, beauty tools, soft drinks) to emerge as a Gothic Lolita. Whereas before schoolgirls changed their looks in train stations, or escaping through the window of their parents’ house, now we wonder how far Tokyo street fashion will go with this new trick.
