We’re offering you a sneak preview of the spring season trends. It got off to a great start last spring but this year it’s most definitely the must-have vintage trend for spring. Our trip back in time to the 1970s has brought about a new lease of life for liberty prints: the most authentic version of true hippy style.

We’ll be seeing a thousand and one variations on the floral print theme. And we’ll be seeing them on all types of garments too. For the time being, we’re offering you a taste of what’s to come with these three sets that have revamped the liberty print theme on a range of colour backgrounds. A romantic country style that’s the perfect choice for when the fine weather arrives.

As you can see, all the top designers have featured it in their collections, decorating ultra retro styles: waistcoats, wide leg trousers, short gauze dresses…And as for hair and makeup trends, we’ll be seeing long styles with a middle parting or curls as well as seemingly endless plaits and pony tails. False lashes with natural look foundation and lots of bronzing powder for glowing skins add the perfect finishing touch to this 70s look.

When Arthur Lasenby Liberty started selling floral print upholstery fabrics inspired by the English countryside back in his London store in the late 19th century, he simply couldn’t have imagined that we’d still be talking about them two centuries later!
