Now Valentine’s Day is almost with us you can’t help but feel that love is in the air. Regardless of whether you have a partner or not, deep down we know that those winter chills will soon be giving way to spring…when we all go crazy! Love in springtime is cool, floral, sparkling and tender. Just like this track by The Morning Benders. Called ‘Excuses’, it talks about the magic of that first encounter.
It’s a fabulous song, but we think that this orchestrated version is even better. It oozes great vibes, and you just can’t help feeling happy when you listen to the melody. Here’s the video and the lyrics, so you can find out for yourself.

This has been stealing the limelight from other finishes for quite some time and now slate has found a niche in the current decorative trends. And we like it!
It was first used on the walls of very trendy restaurants and has since gradually found a place in home decorating trends. Now, however, slate is not only used on roofs or outdoor flooring, kitchens and bathrooms. In fact, it is used on whole walls, in pictures, on pillars… well, on almost everything which can be made into a make-shift blackboard, where you can leave the shopping list or say whatever you want. How?… get out the blackboard paint. In other words, any object can be turned into a surface on which you can paint and express your ideas with coloured chalk.
